FACILITIES OFFERED
  1. Regular ENT OPD – Conducted from Monday – Saturday (08.30 a.m – 02.00 p.m.)
  2. Round the clock emergency services available.
  3. Special clinics like: Vertigo clinic, Hearing disabled rehabilitation clinic, Head & Neck Cancer clinic, Proptosis clinic & endonasal DCR clinic.
  4. Full fledged audiological section with sound proof room for complete audiological evaluation of hearing disabled patient.
  5. Assessment of various speech pathologies & speech therapy is done regularly.
  6. Rehabilitation of hearing impaired is available & regularly congenital hearing loss, noise induced hearing loss & hearing loss due to CSOM & aging process with suggestion of rehabilitation by surgery or hearing aid as required.
  7. Surgical procedures available: Foreign body removing Anterior Base of Skull Surgery, Thoracic procedure, Endoscopy, Head and Neck Surgery .
RESEARCH PROJECTS
  • Endonasal DCR – on economical approach with least morbidity and highest success.
  • Currently project on “Evaluation and Management of various nasal masses in ENT” is being carried in the Department under leadership of Dr.Y.K.Maru
  • Unilateral proptosis of rhinogenic origin evaluation & management by ENT approach.

  1. An invitation talk given by Dr. R.K. Mundra, Assoc Prof &HOD on management of foreign bodies in paediatric airway in AOICON 2015 in Raipur held in January 2015.
  2. Paper presentation by post graduate students in AOICON 2015 in January on
    • a rare case of epidermoid cyst in submandibular region
    • role of concha bullosa in patients with nasal septal deviation in chronic rhinosinusitis
    • comparative evaluation of chronic rhinosinusitis patients by conventional radiography .CT PNS and diagnostic nasal endoscopy

    3 Poster presentation by post graduate students in AOICON 2015 in January on

    • A rare case of post diptheric laryngeal web
    • Retained unusual foreign body in sino-orbital region: sparing all vital structures

    4) Paper presentation on Impact of active and second hand tobacco smoke on CRS patients : comparative analysis by CT scanning and nasal endoscopy and poster presentation on Longest wooden stick penetrating sino-orbital region :Unbelievably sparing vital structures by post graduate students in the 38th Annual Conference of AOI , Delhi in February 2015 .

    10)Seminar was held in December 2014 demonstrating technique and benefits of percutaneous tracheostomy
    11)Seminar was held by Department of Respiratory Medicine on role of spirometry in respiratory physiology in December 2014 which was attended  jointly by dept of medicine , respiratory medicine and ENT
